Indian inkjet printing systems builder Monotech now claims variable data production at web speeds of more than 100 metres per minute.

The new JetSci RL series prints in multiples of 33 mm wide at 300 x 300 dpi resolution: "This newly launched solution is the answer for customers who want to print variable data at multiple locations across a wide print width at high speed, while keeping capital and operating costs to a minimum," says Monotech Systems' Jimit Mittai.

the Chennai-based company claims more than 40 installations of its JetSci M and Y inkjet systems. Based on 360 x 360 Konica Minolta and 600 x 600 Kyocera technology, they print at up to 180 and 220 metres/minute respectively.
