Ad solution manages brand control for carmakers

UK marketing and creative advertising agency RLA is to use Wave2's Easybuild to expand its offerings to car makers.

The solution will be implemented across multiple channels to provde solutions for key departments including sales, aftersales, fleet, used, parts and accessories. The company says understanding the detail behind each department - and, importantly, their impact on each other - allows RLA to deliver complex solutions to the greater benefit of the whole brand.

Using features including a self-service portal, clients will be able to manage creative processes and maintain "robust control" over all aspects of their global corporate messaging and brand identity.

The order will even provide their clients' dealers the self service ability to create personalised and localised marketing material without design skills.

Based on HTML 5, EasyBuild 2 provides facilities including free-form and creative layout ad creation, on-demand production on demand for various media, and automated adaptation and custom resizing. Features for personalisation include localisation and translation, as well as multimedia and cross-platform adaptation.

The service is delivered through a self service portal using templates which are created centrally by RLA designers, and then distributed globally. Strict rules to templates ensure only approved areas of the artwork are made variable to ensure strict brand control. In turn, RLA's network of clients and dealerships have full access to the portal and can create their own materials, in their own language.
