Gannett Imaging and Design Center is to use Presteligence's My News 360 CMS, Status and InDesign integration tools to design pages for commercial clients.

Users will write and post content in the My News 360 CMS from July, accessing the cloud-based via a web browser to write stories, upload photos and upload ads.

Content is then made available as an RSS feed for their clients' websites or other third parties. Once stories are edited and moved to the ready for print folder, content becomes available for the designers to place on pages using the Adobe InDesign integration tools.

Elements are formatted through a folder structure with designers 'dragging and dropping' items to a page, and content then saved back to the database as the print version. An extension auto-populates assigned ads to pages (manually or from a layout file) as well as replaces the folio tokens with the correct values based on the publication name and date.

Status is a cloud-based page tracking portal, processing third-party ad layout feed or manually planning the product. Approved pages are then downloaded directly from the site for print production.

The deal gives GIADC the opportunity to upsell components of My News 360 to clients, such as the website, mobile apps and e-edition.
