SETA, the new publisher of the Alto Adige and Trentino newspapers in Italy's Tirol region, has opted for a cloud-based solution for its print and online editions.

The company - which acquired the titles from the Editoriale L'Espresso group - has chosen Atex's Digital Media content management and digital asset management system, delivered via a fully-managed SaaS solution. It will be hosted in the private cloud of Atex partner Elmec, which will provide cloud and communication infrastructures.

The newsrooms will use the system to manage news production for all channels, also taking advantage of the new DM.Desk DAM component to enable quick access to all types of source - including archive, wires and reporters - and to implement a shared picture desk for all publications.

New publisher of the SETA titles, the Hon. Michl Ebner says the company had chosen "a partner that supports our innovative view of the publishing landscape and will allow us a process of continuous improvement of the business efficiency".
