Not unlike the 'prodigal son', Raju Narisetti will be back in India to speak at INMA's South Asia Conference in August.

The event from August 9-10 at the Shangri-La New Delhi, focuses on strategy and best practices "to grow revenues, brands, markets and audiences", something on which Narisetti is well qualified to speak.

Recently named professor and director in economics and business journalism at America's Columbia Journalism School, he looks back at experience with News Corp as senior vice president for growth and strategy, and at Gizmodo as chief executive. He was also head of the Wall Street Journal digital network, managing editor of the Washington Post and founder and editor-in-chief of HT Media's Mint.

Narisetti will present the keynote, 'Walking the talk: Thinking through news industry disruption, an international perspective', on the second day of what is being dubbed the South Asia Media Festival.

The event programme also includes a pre-conference study tour of New Delhi, adding the promise of inspiration and ideas. Details are at www.inma.org/southasia.
