Miles 33 has used technology from its Wave 2 acquisition to make a UK customer's business directory responsive.

North Wales-based NWN Media Group has also gone live with a new WebCMS in the second phase of its implementation. Earlier a GN4 editorial CMS replaced a QuarkXpress-based system, with an integral DAM for multimedia assets.

The second phase was about adding responsive behaviour to multiple websites and the business directory while implementing an editorial workflow that
integrates the GN4 system.

The new webCMS manages a total of ten responsive websites covering the NWN

Media publishing region.
The directory update is now based on Wave 2's responsive Marketplace solution, enhancing the user experience for mobile users.

Miles 33 chief executive says some core products Wave 2 have been integrated into existing solutions: "The Wave2 Classified Marketplace can now support a business directory format as well as the classified sales site.

"Future options for Business Directory users will be support for multi media
advertising using the Wave2 rich media engine," he says.

NWN Media publishes a portfolio of daily and weekly publications across North and Mid Wales, Shropshire and Cheshire - among them, the oldest weekly newspaper in Wales - and a series of interactive websites. The group reaches an audience of almost a million people every week.
