QI Press Controls has celebrated its 20-year relationship with German press maker KBA with the presentation of a sculpture by a Dutch artist.

The cooperation with the world's oldest and second-largest press manufacturer began back in 1997, a year after QIPC was established, with the opportunity to set up the trial integration of its register scanning heads into a KBA web offset press.

Today, QIPC is a KBA "preferred supplier" for automatic colour and register controls, covering both new and retrofit business.

QIPC Chairman Menno Jansen took advantage of a recent visit to KBA's headquarters in Würzburg to present a sculpture to Christoph Müller, managing director of KBA-Digital & Web Solutions and a member of the KBA Group management. The sculpture by Corry Ammerlaan-van Niekerk symbolises how shared success is achieved through shared responsibility.
