Fairfax Media unit Allure Media has recruited two key executives from Videology as its fast-tracks growth plans for 2017.

Sarah Wyse becomes chief revenue officer and Gemma Labadini (pictured) joins as business development director.

Allure chief executive Jason Scott says Allure is building a next generation media company: "We are focused on creating a portfolio of brands that people love, and that portfolio is growing.

"The growth over the last three years has triggered the new roles as we continue to build the muscle needed to take advantage of the many opportunities available to us."

Last year, Allure launched Kin Community Australia - now YouTube's top video network for women - and was honoured at the Publish Awards for 'launch of the year' the Who What Wear Australia network.

Labadini - who spent two years at Videology as commercial operations director, after roles in the UK and Australia including MEC, Global Radio and Fairfax - started last week, while Wyse joins in mid-February. She has 15 years' experience in media, technology and advertising industries and was most recently ANZ managing director at Videology.

Scott says they are "both great hires", experienced executives with strong product knowledge, established agency and brand relationships and proven track records for delivering commercial solutions.
