The International Classified Marketplace Association is inviting entries for its annual innovation award, which recognise creativity and innovation in the classified advertising industry.

Entry is open to members and non-members, and even the awards have innovative names:

The 'Don't stop me now!' award goes for most innovative product - whether genuinely new ideas, or new or improved ways of implementation. The likeliness that these new innovations can be sustained and have significant, longlasting and increasing impact as well as scalability will be considered.

The ICMA 'Let Me Blow Ya Mind' marketing award recognises and rewards brilliance in marketing. Creativity in raising awareness and originality delivered by industry marketers will be the key evaluation points, with the jury is interested in finding the most creative and efficient campaigns of promoting classified marketplaces online or offline.

ICMA's 'Show me the money!" profit award goes for the most profitable product, and the jury is looking to find the product or solution that in 2017 has proved to be most profitable.

The 'Virtual insanity' technology award is for most revolutionary tech implementation, and aims to highlight the key tech players in our industry. Advances in Technology that created more efficiency, cost effectivity and have provided firms with an invaluable reach to clients and customers is what the jury will be looking for. This section is also open for service providers.

Deadline for submissions is February 15, and these must be made via the submission form.

Marketplaces - vertical, mobile, transactional - is the topic for this spring's ICMA conference in Vienna. The event takes place at Hotel Sofitel Stephansdom from May 3-4, and speakers and the agenda are still being developed.
