Local stock cuts delivery time for upgrades

Manugraph Americas has cut time-to-delivery of its M360 four-high by taking the Indian-built single-width tower into local stock.

A tower has just been added to a Goss Community/Tensor line at the Adrian, Minnesota, Daily Telegram and a stock replacement is due at the vendor's Pennsylvania factory early this month.

The Adrian upgrade is the third M360 order into the USA, and sales vice president Ron Ehrhardt says there is renewed interest in newspaper companies adding equipment to their existing presses: "Because of this we are now ordering new M360 towers from our India factory on spec in order to have them readily available for faster installation," he says.

Paxton Media installed a 20-unit M360 at its High Point, North Carolina, Enterprise facility, and an eight-unit press has gone in at the Murray, Kentucky, Ledger.

Ehrhardt says the installations provide two sites to demonstrate integration of the M360 tower to Community-type presses, with which he says it is fully compatible.
