Business associates and employees shared in the opening of QuadTech's new Indian headquarters, with Manugraph managing director Pradeep Shah cutting a ribbon to open the premises.

"I am sure that through the hard work and dedication of management, their presence in India will continue to grow, and wish them all success," he said.

President of QuadTech Karl Fritchen says the additional space in the new facility will enable more functions to be added for customers, with a 24/7 help desk team and local assembly capabilities planned.

The new premises in Gandhinagar, Gujarat, follow increased interest in the company's control technology with the steady growth of the print market in India and southeast Asia.

"By creating a space that is both welcoming and functional, we intend to be better equipped to demonstrate QuadTech print technology solutions," says QuadTech India operations and sales general manager Hemant Desai. "We are also very excited to add local assembly capabilities and a local 24/7 help desk to continue growing and extending our service capabilities."

Another special guest at the celebration was Bharat Shah, chairman and managing director of flexible packaging press manufacturer Pelican, who described Quadtech as "more than just a supplier, but a true partner in meeting our customers' needs".

Local customers also gathered to celebrate and bless the space, which accommodates visitors for demonstrations, training and meetings, and a blessing and prayer ceremony for prosperity, energy, and luck for the new space was part of the proceedings.
