After the success of its tenth anniversary celebration last year, Müller Martini opened the doors of its showroom in the Sydney suburb of Silverwater for a second open day.
On show was one of the first Primera E140 saddlestichers released into the marketplace following the 14000 cph machine’s DRUPA launch. The highly-automated system has the flexibility needed for upgraded newspaper inserts and supplements, as well as being suitable for a range of commercial applications. Tabloid-sized hoppers can be hand, stream or roll fed and the system can be interfaced with modules for sample glueing, addressing, inserting and film wrapping under JDF/JMF control.
Managing director Livio Barbagallo says recent years have given the Australian subsidiary a lot of exciting moments: “This event is a small gesture to give something back,” he says. |
