An order sealed at the IfraExpo last year is now bearing fruit at Mediaworks production unit PLT in the Hungarian town of Veszprem.

Two Muller Martini FlexLiner inserting systems are currently being commissioned to handle an increasing volume of inserts.

PLT - or Pannon Lapok Társasága - is a recent acquisition for Mediaworks Hungary, the country's Hungary's largest private newspaper group, and prints several local and national daily newspapers, both tabloid and broadsheet, with total runs averaging 300,000 copies per day.

The three-in-one FlexLiner systems and NewsStack compensating stackers and L mini feeders replace manual labour on the ever-growing volume of inserts and preprinted sections. The solution offers format flexibility and the ability to open main sections with or without a low folio lap.
