German heatset printer Druckerei Vetters in Radeburg will upgrade and expand QI Press Controls systems on two of its four web presses.

The company has been using IDS colour control since 2006, with QI's systems on its manroland Polyman, Rotoman and Octoman, and Zirkon Supra 660 presses.

The Octoman will have perforation control added, while this and the Zirkon will have IDS-3D and mRC-3D cameras for colour and register control, the latter in a full refit including cut-off register.
