manroland says it has put higher press performance online with enhancements to its web-based parts portal.

The manroland Store is a 24-seven platform for the management of spare parts and expendables with short response times and online prices, described as "a real competitive advantage" for customers.

Individual and customised catalogues matched to presslines are supported by individually-stored shopping lists and detailed exploded drawings for many search requests. Parts require only choosing, clicking on and putting in a shopping cart.

The database also shows second generation, alternative and similar products for parts as well as different packaging sizes, further equipment and scaled prices, and provides detailed information sheets for many products.

manroland says the portal can also be integrated into an internal ordering and handling system enabling relevant data to be stored in a customer's the merchandise management system.

With expected delivery times, users can choose to have part or the whole order delivered urgently, with each order be confirmed by email. An order history function makes repeat orders easier and is also available for review afterwards.

manroland says benefits include attractive, market-driven online prices as well as individual special offerings.
