Taking time out from winning at Tetris, Apple cofounder Steve Wozniak is on tour in Australia this month.

A series of half-day seminars under the title, ‘Woz Live – the Apple Story ‘ – sponsored by internet service provider iiNet – takes place in Perth, Sydney and Melbourne.

Wozniak joined forces with Steve Jobs in 1976, founding Apple Computer for the launch of his Apple I personal computer, and began a route to success with the Apple II the following year.

He left Apple in 1985, and has been involved in a variety of business and philanthropic ventures. He is currently a director of telephony start-up Jacent and Danger, which develops wireless internet platforms.

In the Woz Live presentations, he reflects on the legacy of chief executive Steve Jobs and their work together.

Dates are: Perth May 11; Sydney May 14; and Melbourne May 16. Details from iiNet, which offers the half-day at a reduced $895 to its customers.
