Twenty-five years of the International Color Consortium will be celenrated during the Fogra Colour Management Symposium in Munich this month.

The event takes place from February 28 to March 1 at the Holiday Inn Munich City Centre, with advertisers, brand owners, suppliers, media and print service providers expected to gather to hear experts (in German and English) on current trends and future solutions for color quality management.

One of the highlights of the Symposium will be an evening celebrating the 25th anniversary of the International Color Consortium (ICC).

The event is a first sponsorship for the new Baldwin Vision Systems, which combines QuadTech, PC Industries, and Web Printing Controls. Elie Khoury from partner Alwan Color Expertise will discuss 'Qualifying multicolour and HSI printing workflows: Standardisation and certification requirements'.

President Karl Fritchen says that, for those who can adopt complete, simplified workflow solutions, "there is an enormous opportunity to increase press productivity, significantly reduce colour make-ready and setup time, and reduce ink inventory and storage needs."
