manroland has sold a second Lithoman heatset web to Belgian printing company Remy-Roto, part of the Rossel Groupe.

The 72-page Lithoman due for delivery to the Beauraing site in late 2016, joins anotrher Lithoman installed in 2009. It will replace a KBA Continent 2-1 newspaper/semicommercial press and take on work including Soirmag (formerly Soir Magazine), brochures, advertising and newspaper inserts.

Directeur général at Rossel Printing and Remy Roto Pierre Walravens says the new press offers expansion and back-up capacity: "The market we supply for newspapers and magazines is undergoing some changes, and we are counteracting this with increased flexibility and more efficient manufacturing."

Brussels-based Rossel is a family-owned group of more than 100 companies. Its media sector includes radio and television in addition to publishing and printing at five locations.
