Sydney's Offset Alpine won three of the four gold medals available to it in this year's Australian National Print Awards, announced last night.
The top commercial web jobs were:
• David Jones Christmas 2008 catalogue (web-offset coated stock off-line finished); printed and finished by Offset Alpine; design and prepress by Saatchi & Saatchi; stock Centrefold gloss art from Dalton Web; finishing by Offset Alpine.
• Pendamonium Christmas Catalogue (web-offset coated stock press finished); printed and finished by Cadillac Printing; designed by client Craig Deane Advertising; prepress Wellcom; stock Centrefold gloss art from Dalton Web.
• AWW Winter Favourites (web-offset publications with a cover price); primted and finished by Offset Alpine; design and prepress by client ACP Magazines; stock Influence gloss from Jackaroo Paper.
• Country Road - View No 1 (web-offset un-coated stock); printed and finished by Offset Alpine; design by Fabio Ongarato Design for client Country Road; prepress by Visual Thing; stock Publishers Offset from Dalton Web.
The 'up-and-coming' inkjet digital printing category was one of several in which no gold medals were awarded.
