MBN shows off its new heatset capability

South Korean business newspaper MBN has shown off its new Goss M-600 press at an open house event in Paju City.

MBN - which stands for Maeil Business Newspaper - installed the 16- page press to expand print capabilities and increase its overall production capacity. Equipped with Omnicon press controls, it is expected to deliver a new competitive edge.

The Maekyung Media Group subsidiary delivers high-quality printed monthly and weekly magazines, reference books, pictorials, brochures and newspapers. Its equipment includes six Newsliner presses across four production sites.

MBN vice chairman Lee says the latest investment provides existing and new customers with an even higher standard products: "The M-600 press is the best on the market and ensures that we can deliver the highest quality with the shortest makereadies and as such, we are confident that there will soon be even higher demand for our services."

The open house event enabled MBN to demonstrate the press's capabilities to interested customers and prospects.

Goss Asia Pacific managing director Tim Mercy says people were able to fully appreciate the quality and productivity achievable with the press: "Goss and MBN have an established relationship spanning many years and we are really pleased to be able to support them once again as they take yet another step forward and expand their business," he says.
