Outbrain opens inventory to AppNexus users

AppNexus users will be able to bid on Outbrain inventory under a new agreement between the two.

Outbrain Programmatic Access (OPA) integrates programmatic demand partners into Outbrain's native ecosystem, providing "select partners" into the marketplace using their own data and technology stack.

Previously, Outbrain has operated as a closed marketplace, but Outbrain says OPA will also make it easy for marketers to leverage its proprietary data and technology to access their audience in a native way.

Integration with AppNexus and the creation of an open native programmatic ecosystem builds on Outbrain's investment in innovation in targeting, analysis, measurement, and data-driven discovery solutions, as a compliment to their search and social strategies.
