Now PacPrint waits until September

PacPrint organisers have settled uncertainty over the Australian trade show, naming a new date in 2021.

After announcing a postponement when DRUPA's date was moved, new dates for PacPrint have now been settled for September 28-October 1, 2021.

The four-day show -held in conjunction with Visual Impact and the Label & Packaging Expo - returns to its usual venue at Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre.

Messe Düsseldorf announced in March that the global mega-show would be rescheduled to April 10-20, 2021, which would have left local exhibitors little time until the originally-scheduled date in late May.

"One of PacPrint's strongest advantages has always been its timing, coming roughly one year after DRUPA," says Peter Harper of organiser Visual Connections. "This typically means that new technologies released at DRUPA - even some of those shown in Düsseldorf as prototypes - are nearly always ready for immediate sale and supply in this region by the time PacPrint rolls around, so businesses can benefit straight away."

The new date will give exhibitors the opportunity to show DRUPA-release technologies to the Australian market.
