Swiss press maker Wifag is reorganising sales with the departure of two of its best-known salespeople.
Sales and marketing director Noel McEvoy and area sales manager Matthias Kobel are both leaving the company, McEvoy to “a new challenge outside the newspaper business”.
Chief executive Jörgen Karlsson (pictured) says the changes follow integration of the Digital Competence Center into Wifag Maschinenfabrik early last year, and incorporation of the converting division.
“During this consolidation process, Wifag has been successfully focussed on meeting the current and ongoing service and projects requirements of its strong customer base,” he says. “In the wave of all these mergers, the sales organisation of Wifag is also faced with change.”
Wifag’s automation and service departments are taking on sales activities, supported by regional and country converting sales representatives headed by Ernst Meier.
Beyond these, questions are being directed to Hugo Haymoz (customer service), Fritz Wenger (projects) and Rolf Mani (automation).
