IPMG shows Warwick Farm to LIA members

A rare industry tour of the new Hannanprint site in southwest Sydney takes place next Tuesday for local LIA members.

Described as the most technically advanced printing plant in the southern hemisphere, the Warwick Farm site was commissioned last year with a mix of new and relocated plant. It replaces the IPMG group member’s factory in Alexandria in inner Sydney, the site of which was sold last year for $343 million.

Lithographic Institute NSW members visit on February 25, with tours through the ‘hands-off’ prepress and platemaking area, the pressroom, bindery lines, packaging and despatch departments led by staff members.

“The visit is sure to be a real eye-opener providing inspiration to drive you forward<” says the LIA’s Mike Williams. “Print industry plant tours on the scale of Hannanprint are rarely possible.”

Members and non members are invited, and with a dinner planned afterwards at a Liverpool restaurant, there will be plenty to talk about.
