Basketball has been added to the My Team Scoop Game Tracker software used to relay play-by-play accounts of high school games.

Software company Presteligence says the system displays real time scoring, fouls, time-outs, offensive and defensive rebounds, steals, assists, blocks, and turnovers.

Fans can watch a game’s progress as it takes place on a phone, tablet or desktop with a visually appealing court-like background conveying a professional-sport level experience at the local level.

Users can click to related games to find out what’s going on with rival teams, and every quarter, they receive a score update via text, email, or push notification.

Up to ten people can report on a game, with reporters, community contributors and even players can keeping stats on their smartphone while sitting in the stands. With times, substitutions, scoring, defence and offence plays, the resulting stats can be used to write a story or game highlight.

The fully hosted high school sports management service includes web and mobile sites, apps, a built-in CMS with reverse publishing, and a communication platform.
