Global digital branding company TubeMogul has strengthened its Singapore team to help accelerate the adoption of automated buying of video ads.
Phu Truong, the company’s Asia director for the last 18 months, becomes southeast Asia managing director and is supported by two new appointments.
Singapore-based video industry sales executive Yogesh Foflia – ex Google, VeNA and InMobi – joins as regional sales manager, while Suzie Porter becomes regional business development manager following similar publisher development roles in Asia and Europe.
Truong (pictured) was the BBC’s vice president of commercial operations and worked in the Wall Street Journal’s digital unit for seven years, latterly as director of international advertising sales.
TubeMogul chief executive Brett Wilson says Truong’s knowledge of the digital advertising sector is vast: “We look forward to deepening our relationships with our brand and ad agency partners,” he says.
Headquartered in Emeryville, California, TubeMogul has operations in London, Singapore, Sydney, Tokyo and Toronto, in addition to its five US offices.
