Clever technology that makes online pictures appear in 3D is expected to add eye-appeal for advertisers.

The Cxense system delivers a spacial appearance when an image is scrolled up or down, and is seen as a way to capture attention and combat 'banner blindness'.

The 3D capability is offered as part of the company's cloud-based ad serving service.

Chief executive Raman Bhatnagar says displaying "three-dimensional" ads adds a premium feel to sites, showcasing brands: "Through our analytics and data management solutions, we know who is looking for what products, how best to target them, and how to present the products in the most engaging way."
