WAN-Ifra is asking participants about their experience and success at previous World Publishing Expos as part of moves to make the 2016 better.
An online survey offers complimentary registration, an incentive currently available for a limited period.
The organisation says it is taking "several steps" to WPE maintains its leading position. The 2016 expo is in Vienna from October 10-12.
Two conferences - Print World and Digital Media World - will be free to visitors.
Expert guided tours on a variety of topics are complemented by matchmaking services, to match visitors to vendors of specific technologies or services. Free on-the-spot consultations by WAN-Ifra specialists are also being offered.
On the social side, a Media Tech Nite will celebrate winners of the World Digital Media Awards and members of the International Newspaper Color Quality Club.
"Besides these steps, we would like to hear your ideas and thoughts on how we can make WPE even more exciting and relevant to your needs," says deputy chief executive and executive director for global events Manfred Werfel.
