NSTP chief added to Digital Media India programme

WAN-Ifra has added Abdul Jalil Hamid, chief executive of Malaysia's New Strait Times Press, to the already full speaker roster for its Digital Media India event which opens tomorrow.

Registrations are about to close for the two day conference (February 7-9) at the Courtyard by Marriott Mumbai International Airport.

The programme promise case studies and ideas being experimented around the globe on different pillars of growth such as paid content, big data and digital transformation.

Abdul Jalil Hamid is responsible for all print and digital division business at NSTP and will explain how the group has embarked on a radical transformation plan which maximises the current value of the print business whilst emphasising building and growing of their digital publications to build their position as a leading digital publisher in Malaysia. He will also explain their primary focus on overall newsroom integration, digital-driven business strategies and embracing the digital culture to drive higher asset monetisation potential.
