Installation of the first Wisprint WS-D625 has started again following delays caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The four-unit web-fed book press at Hubei Xinhua Printing is part of a project to modernise facilities at the textbook and book printing operation, one of China's four largest.

In 2018, it was awarded the title of 'printing enterprise of the year' from the People's Education Association, recognising major investments into new technologies.

The Wisprint WS-D range is specifically designed for quality book printing with standard features include g plate cocking and a powerful ink train. A multifunctional folder based on the proven JF45, is capable of automatic format changes in less than one minute.

Shanghai-based maker Goss Graphic Systems (China) traces its history in press manufacturing to 1939.
