After more than 20 years helping the Financial Times with its digital transformation, tech developer Eidosmedia has been named as ‘strategic partner’ to the UK publisher’s consulting arm.

FT Strategies was launched in 2020 to leverage experience from the FT’s digital transformation – it now has more than three million subscribers – and has since helped more than 1000 organisations worldwide improve their commercial performance and operational effectiveness.

Chief marketing officer Massimo Barsotti said Eidosmedia was excited to be “part of the select group of tech specialists recognised as partners by FT Strategies.

“Their objective – ‘to deliver sustainable growth and profitablity’ to media organisations – is perfectly aligned with our own mission as suppliers of transformative technology to newsmedia groups worldwide,” he said.

Eidosmedia joins a slate of technical, commercial and editorial specialists upon whose expertise FT Strategies draws to re-engineer the operations of its media clients.

“For more than 20 years Eidosmedia technology has played a key role in the digital transformation of the Financial Times itself,“ said Barsotti. “We look forward to partnering with FT Strategies to deliver similar successful outcomes to their current and future customers.“

The FT’s specialist media consultancy, FT Strategies combines technical and management consulting with operational expertise to deliver end-to-end support, from strategy to execution.
