Family-owned Sykaris Graphic Arts has brought its Heidelberg M2000 Duplex up to date with state of the art register and colour density technology.

Firmly established in the Greek graphic industry, Sykaris has chosen QI Press Controls’ register, cut-off and density control systems for the eight-unit, two-folder press as part of an ongoing commitment to production stability, efficiency and high-quality print performance.

The company has developed a strong reputation for consistent and dependable production, but the ageing control systems were no longer aligned with operational ambitions. To restore optimal performance and further enhance efficiency, Sykaris chose QIPC’s mRC-3D colour register and cut-off control systems together with the IDS-3D closed loop colour control system including ink presetting. The technologies minimise start-up waste, accelerate colour convergence and ensure consistent, repeatable production quality.

The project was initiated through Greek agent Vaxevanidis Dimitris & SIA, with the company preparing a comprehensive upgrade of the press. QIPC area sales manager John Rovers said the order represented an important collaboration with a respected Greek printing company that shares a commitment to quality and long-term performance.

“We are proud that Sykaris Graphic Arts has placed its trust in us and we look forward to supporting the company throughout the implementation process,” he said. “Our teams are fully committed to ensuring a seamless installation and providing reliable service and rapid support.”
