Ohio-based Presteligence has announced an automated page-building feature for its My News 360 hosted service.
The company makes the point that - apart from allowing editorial team members to focus on providing content - its use will reduce number of Adobe InDesign licenses (and staff) required to build pages.
With the system, curated content is automatically placed on pages based on category and rank. Users without InDesign experience can then edit, swap, move and remove content on pages as well as manage jumps from the online interface.
The company says publishers can choose to "go the fully automated route" - straight to digital distribution or print production - or expedite the page building process by fine-tuning the pages in InDesign after the automated placement.
It can also expand digital channels by producing "digital replica" editions, and makes room for additional publications and special sections.
Presteligence says the module is available to all publishers "regardless of the CMS or editorial system being used".
