The deadline to apply for cash under the Australian government's Regional and Small Publishers Innovation Fund has been extended.
You now have until Friday, August 10 to apply. Incorporated companies with an annual turnover of less than $30 million can apply for grants of up to $1 million. The total funds for the scheme will be made available over three years.
Eligibility requirements dictate that publishers must pass an Australian residency test and use the funds to produce public interest journalism to benefit Australians.
