WAN-Ifra says it is on course for a successful event with its new Ifra World Publishing Expo and DCX Digital Content Expo format.

Müller Martini, Krause and manroland web systems are the latest to confirm their participation, and project leader Alena Kluge says "nearly every day the white spots in the hall plan become more rare".

With partner Publishing Exhibition, planning is in full swing: "We have set ourselves ambitious and clear targets. In Berlin (October 10-12), Ifra and DCX will form a global platform for everything related to publishing."

Kluge says that in addition to the strong location, this is mainly the result of an informative programme and the participation of important companies in the industry. "News media practitioners and digital pioneers will find the answers to their questions on an international level."

Among other industry leaders are ABB, KBA, Ferag, alfaMediaPartner, CCI Europe, ppi Media and protecmedia.

Conference sessions in Digital Media World will cover the Facebook challenge, best practice in digital media, new revenue pillars, digital success stories and 'The Future Starts Now'. A highlight will be presentation of the Digital Media Awards in ten categories.

The Print World sessions are focussed on the power of print, targetted newspapers, print innovation and Production Technology 4.0. Common topics include publishing in challenging times, and mastering present and future with 20 speakers already taking part.

Packages for visitors can include the entire trade fair visit with three nights in a hotel and admission to both trade fairs and conferences and access to the VIP lounge. A Media Executive pass includes an exclusive evening event on October 10.
