A new cloud-based automated image enhancement service is being introduced by software vendor News Hub Media.

AI4I - for 'artificial intelligence for images' - is based on the same enhancement engine already used by US and international publishers including the New York Times, Popular Science, USA Today and Mexico's OEM.

NHM president Richard Laframboise says the turnkey approach combines cloud-based image processing with predictive enhancement algorithms to give "consistent and exceptional" image quality for mobile, web and print channels.

"Studies show the value of high-quality images and graphics drive website views, search results, print media sales and mobile device brand and product awareness," he says

"The platform has been developed based on AI technology, cloud-based storage, image file security and automation features, and is built-for-speed, high volume and ease of use."
