Spanish publisher Grupo RBA has followed up the relaunch of its Diário Online news portal with the upgrade and integration of its technology.
Since early August, print and online versions of Diário do Pará have moved to Mundiware's Classic for commercial management and automated ad serving.
Group project coordinator Adeilson Pinheiro says the old classified system was obsolete, and the new software not only facilitates ad capture, but also sales, making the process faster.
"It is a system with many possibilities and differentials," he adds.
Another goal achieved was to offer customers the alternative of advertising both in print and digital.
The RBA Group's business system change initiative is part of a larger ongoing plan to modernise and strengthen the connection between the systems used by all the conglomerate's media in print, web, TV and radio.
Newspaper classified commercial coordinator Kleber Brandão says classifieds are "just another tab" of the macro integration: "The idea is to integrate the group's vehicles so that everyone can see each other fully, within the business, financial, operational, etc."
