Crisis opportunity to build brand value, says report

GlobalData has updated its report on tech, media and telecom trends to reflect the impact of COVID-19 on companies.
Thematic analyst Oliver Lockett says that while all sectors will be negatively impacted, advertising can play a significant role in the global response, "with companies able to build brand value through socially-conscious advertising and PR.
"Those that take this proactive approach will fare better both during and after the crisis," he says.
'Tech, Media & Telecom Trends 2020' - which the company sells at between US$1950-5850 - has been updated to reflect the impact of the virus on 17 separate TMT sectors.
