The carnage at News Corp Australia continues, with staff told that its With Her In Mind Network (Whimn) Network will cease at the end of the month, while Sunday metro inserted magazine Stellar is to be merged with Body+Soul from early July.

Mumbrella has reported an internal email tells staff the changes will "strengthen the women's portfolio and create a simpler offering for clients".

Stellar editor Sarrah Le Marquand will be responsible for the combined Body+Soul NIM, with its previous editor Elin Tough leaving the company.

News executive chairman Michael Miller had previously announced that news.com.au editor Kate de Brito would report directly to him; now Kidspot - edited by Melissa Wilson - will be added to her responsibilities.

"Operating as the one News Women's Network will enable us to better collaborate to create brilliant storytelling that resonates with consumers and their lifestyles, while also developing advertising and custom marketing solutions using our data insights to ensure advertisers and clients are connected with the right consumer demographics for their products and services," managing director of news.com.au, News Women's Network and eCommerce

Richard Skimin said in the email.
