Dance Boss Printers lift hearts but miss out on $100k

Let's hear it for the spunky Spotpress team in Seven TV's Dance Boss, unluckily pipped in the final four of the Australian dance competition.

If you missed it, check out the passion and the performance of Sydneysiders Dorothy Joly, Johnny Campos and Christine Rymer in Monday's end-to-end two final episodes of the show at

The Printers team are from 0:12:45 to 0:17:00, as judge Sharni Vinson put it, "flirting with each other, yet flirting with danger at the same time".

Their performance - and some fabulous lifts in a dramatic latin routine - drew gasps from Vinson and fellow judges Adam Garcia and Timomatic. Sadly the judges' enthusiasm was not matched by their scoring, and the total of 79 didn't get them into the final, with a team of Victorian youth workers taking the $100,000 prize.

Here's a selection of stills from the show, including that lift - Adam Garcia couldn't make up his mind what to call it (throw, lift or toss?) but agreed that it was one of the show's highlights. "We loved you," he said. We love you too, Dorothy, Johnny and Christine, and hope we'll be seeing more of them. Maybe one of them will answer the phone when you call to book a newspaper or magazine job.
