Back in Chennai after five years, WAN-Ifra's India 2017 conference will have a new format including a World Editors Forum event.

The "silver jubilee" conference is being held at the ITC Grand Chola hotel from September 12-14. The first conference was held in 1993 in Chennai.

More than 400 decisionmakers are expected to attend a programme which includes a first WEF South Asia Summit, the popular Printing Summit, two preconference workshops, networking dinners and an expo.

Pre-conference workshops take place on September 12 at the same venue, and a visit to a modern printing plant in Chennai is planned for the last day of the event, September 14.

Demands to bring the expo closer to the conference venue have resulted in limited interconnected booths, for which bookings are now open, along with other sponsorship opportunities.
