DRUPA revs up interest with hybrid digital platform

A new website with lectures and videos are part of an initiative to maintain interest in DRUPA until its revised date next April.

The new online platform for exhibitors and visitors launches next month with 'conference', 'exhibition' and 'networking' sections to discuss themes and present product portfolios ahead of the "hybrid fair" itself.

Users will find lectures, videos and interviews, "reflecting the agenda in terms of content and the knowledge transfer that DRUPA stands for". Interested parties will be able to take part in the web sessions free of charge and chat with the speakers, with the videos available afterwards.

A 'networking plaza' will allow companies and interested parties to establish live online contact in advance and intensify this contact at the event next year.

Director Sabine Geldermann says the digital offering is the result of much hard work: "With the hybrid DRUPA we also give those visitors who are unable to travel the possibility to take part in the industry get-together.

"At the same time, we meet exhibitors' needs to reach the international community personally. Via the portal the DRUPA platform therefore unites the global print community in a targeted manner."

Content is free for visitors after registration; details and agenda of the live sessions will follow soon.
