Implementation of a new integrated advertising and business system at the Boston Globe starts this week.

Miles 33 International has been contracted for the system which includes integrated digital and print ad sales, a self-service ad portal, print pagination and ROP layout, digital and print ad tracking and production management, invoicing, credit management and accounts receivable system.

A spokesman says Miles 33 is proud to be associated with “such a storied franchise in American newspaper history” and is looking forward to a long and mutually beneficial relationship.

Installation services are intended to begin immediately after the US Thanksgiving Day holiday, with the entire system scheduled to be live in mid-2014.
