More than half the 30 prizes in this year's tenth Asian Digital Media Awards were shared by two publishers.

Cause for pride for South China Morning Post chief executive Gary Liu and Singapore Press Holdings editor-in-chief Warren Fernandez as their official positions within WAN-Ifra's APAC committee had them congratulating a succession of team members who collected awards.

Awards recognise regional news organisations' best and most engaging digital content and offerings, with ten categories incluing best websites, video, infographics, native advertising and social media content.

Preentations followed the first day of the Digital Media Asia conference in Hong Kong. Awards were judged by a panel of 15 in the US and Europe, with the 151 entries coming from 11 countries. Gold winners are automatically entered for WAN-Ifra's World Digital Media Awards.

SCMP took home six of the ten gold awards, sharing one with R.AGE of Star Media Group, Malaysia, while SPH won three and PT GVM Networks (Opini.id) was the winner of the award for brand marketing.
