PacPrint exhibitors could win government funding

Potential exhibitors in Australia's PacPrint trade show are being urged to move quick to win a share of a $50 million funding pool.

Organisers Visual Connections say companies can apply for government support up to 50 per cent of their show costs, or $250,000.

With the funding pool limited however, chief executive Peter Harper says it's 'first in, best dressed'. Visual Connections has been working with the Exhibitions & Events Association of Australia and other event industry associations to ensure PacPrint exhibitors can share in the assistance package announced late last year.

Having achieved eligibility however, time is running short. To qualify exhibitors must have reserved space and completed a booking form for the show, to be held between September 28 and October 1 at Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre.

There is a minimum spend of $20,000.
