Serial Challenger Lodovico de Briganti is in training again for the Smith Family Challenge, a two-day charity bike, hike and kayak event across a 100 km route.

De Briganti - best known in the industry as EidosMedia's Sydney manager - is again getting ready for the course through country NSW, his seventh year. "It is an exhilarating off-road adventure where teams of four navigate by foot, bike and on water to the finish line," he says.

The 2019 event will be based in the Great Lakes region of NSW, about three hours from Sydney, and runs from March 7-9.

Proceeds - and you can donate or sponsor below - help support young Australians in need, to get the most out of their education, and so they can create better futures for themselves.

has contributed nearly $5million to The Smith Family Learning for Life programme since it started in 2008.

In 2019 the event aims to raise $900,000, with each participant raising $10,000. All Challengers pay their own event costs, so 100 per cent of donations go directly to the cause.
