Having run ist Ferag mailroom system since 1996, Sweden’s Nya Wermlands-Tidningen has upgraded with the company’s Streamfold.

An upgrade of the original equipment also includes a MultiStack compensating stacker and Navigator controls.

Managing director Mats Muregård says recent years have seen more inserting and quarterfold processing. An existing system was limited to 10,000 cph.

The StreamFold has been integrated into the existing line, where it is fed by a TTR conveyor from two folders. UTR conveyors will connect the StreamFold and MultiStack stacker.

The new production technology and the Navigator control mark the start of a complete replacement of the 17-year-old system at a later date.
