Indian start-up Arré rises to top in World Digital Media

Finalists from India and Malaysia were among outright winners of WAN-Ifra's World Digital Media Awards, presented tonight.

Arré India was named best in lifestyle, sports, entertainment website or mobile service, and R.AGE Malaysia was named best branded content project in the global completion which brings together winners from WAN-Ifra's regional digital media competitions.

Arré is a new-media organization which produces narratives across text, web series, fiction and non-fiction video, as well as producing short viral videos and sketches. https://arre.co.in/

A regular winner in WAN-Ifra's digital competitions, R.AGE Malaysia won for #StandTogether, a client-sponsored campaign to cultivate a culture of kindness in schools across the country. http://www.standtogether.my/

The presentations were made during the gala dinner of the 71st WAN-Ifra World News Media Congress, held at the Kelvin Grove Art Gallery and Museum in Glasgow, at the end of the conference's second day.
