Entries are open for this year's South Asian Digital Media Awards, organised by the regional association of WAN-Ifra.
The awards - including two new categories - recognise South Asian publishers who have delivered unique and original digital media projects in the last 12 months, from new approaches to digital subscriptions, to impactful native advertising campaigns.
With the entry period closing on August 30, projects need to be uploaded by September 8, and finalists will be announced on November 30.
Awards are presented for the best in the following categories:
News website or mobile service;
Lifestyle, sports, entertainment website or mobile services;
Online video (including VR);
Paid content strategy (including paywall, membership or crowd-funding models);
Native advertising/branded content campaign;
Best project for news literacy (new category);
Best marketing campaign for news brand; and
Special project for COVID-19 (new category).

Winners will be announced at the Digital Media India 2021 conference.
