Installation of a used M600 heatset press in Mumbai is a breakthrough for manroland Goss web systems India in collaboration with GWS.

The sale to a renowned commercial printer follows years of cooperation between the two companies on used equipment, but is the first in the country since manroland Goss's acquisition of GWS last year.

manroland Goss web systems India managing director Sudeep Bhattacharjee says that since the two have teamed up, synergies and opportunities have been better utilized to the benefit of customers. "While we located and developed the client, GWS helped us in identifying a suitable press, showing it to the client at site and finalising the commercials," he says.

Apart from the press sale, dismantling of the press at GroupWork, Brazil, and installation in Mumbai will be carried out by Indian technicians along with technicians from MRGWS.

"We hope this is a just a start, with many more successes to follow," he said.
